Help! Is smartside siding safe for chickens?

Hello All!
In the attempt to beautify our coop we are looking at smartside siding. It says that it's treated to prevent termites and mold. Is this product safe for my chickens?

If it is in fact safe, it's 3/8" thick. Do i use it by itself or still use plywood underneath?

I think as long as you don't let them eat the saw dust it would be fine. You can either put up sheathing and nail the siding to that or just attach directly into the studs.
Do you plan on painting the siding?
