HELP! Is this a cockerel????

I ordered 6 day old pullets from a hatchery where they have 100% sexing guarantee. (Ppl still make mistakes) but I have 2 black copper marans I got from them same breed same time, one is MASSIVEEEE Bigger than the rest, huge legs and huge comb… the other is the same size as the others maybe a tad smaller…. Is this just a massive pullet or possibly a roo? They are ONLY 3 weeks old so it’s wayyyy early but just trying to get opinions

I am no expert at sexing chicks,,, but question??
Were the chicks all 6 days old,, and same size when you got them???
If so,, then you may have a cockerel.
I know hatcheries do sex their chicks,,, but even the best are about 92% correct. Some postings place that value at 80%.
Sexlinks,, which are distinctly different looking, are about the only 100% ers.

With that size comb at 3 weeks old, it's pretty much guaranteed to be a cockerel, I'm afraid.

Vent sexing is never more than 95% accurate under the best circumstances. What hatchery gave a 100% guarantee?

A comb like that on a 3-week-old is male.

An obvious cockerel is an obvious cockerel no matter what age. I would contact the hatchery ASAP with a photo.

Obvious cockerel. I too would contact the hatchery. Just be prepared for them to tell you to wait until 12-14 weeks.

Yes. I ordered all 6 at once. They all arrived as day old poultry.. they were all about the same size when they arrived….

Meyers hatchery. They’re GREAT I’ve ordered multiple orders from them they also have a 48 hour livability guarantee as well.
