HELP! Is this a fungus?

I've looked over at some pictures here and various places, and think this could possibly be favus. She has a white/yellowish color on one of her earlobes. I would like some experienced opinions on it. I've had chickens all my life, and never had a fungus problem. Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful resource to turn to. Since new members can't post photos or links, how can I show you folks what i'm talking about?

If you don't see any pus or redness, I don't see how it could hurt to find out by treating it as if it were, with one of the athlete's foot (antifungal) creams or ointments.

I doubt a pic would make much difference, it's going to be guesswork anyway. Good luck.
