Help!!! Is this a hen or a rooster?

Keep an eye out to see if the bird in question tries to mate with the other hens. I’m pretty sure that only roosters will try that...

Good idea. All the chicken does is lay on the ground. Then waddles around eating. Gets along with all the hens. No mounting, but chicken is only 7 months

Do you have a side standing picture? I currently have a crowing hen. It sounds more like yelling, and isn't an actual crow. Have you sat out there to see who's doing it?

Yeah, my husband said it was the Cochin and physically saw it. The only other suspect is this one who is 4 1/2 months old... everyone else is for sure a hen.

No other pictures either. I’d have to wait until I get off work in the evening.

No I meant my hen that crows sounds like screaming. Yours sounds like a rooster should. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

oooooooh!!!!! Ha ha ha. Got it. I get about 2-3 eggs a day, so I’m pretty sure all the 7 month olds are laying.
