Help! Is this a malposition or just a wierd looking pip?

So I did a hatch of chicken eggs and all them hatched but two. It's not quite like the internal pip that I normally see but I don't want to lose this baby either. It's the only bantam cochin that made it to lock down 😭

It definitely doesn't look to have pipped internally yet. It may be malpositioned and I've lost a chick that way - I had a bad feeling but didn't want to interfere.

You can only try your best to save it if it is malpositioned. The worst one is when they have their head pointed downwards between their thighs which was how my chick was positioned. I would make a safety hole in the air cell end near where you can see the most movement that's large enough to allow you to dab a bit of oil on the membrane to see what stage the chick is at. If you can see blood in the veins it's not ready to hatch. If you think it is malpositioned I would very carefully pierce a hole in the membrane (it only needs to be a tiny hole to let oxygen in) then you are going to have to check it often and make sure the humidity is high in your incubator so that the membrane doesn't dry out.

This is my go-to guide, and even though it's in the Goose forum it applies to all hatching eggs:
