Help! Is this bumble foot??

I want one

He has such a "pretty" face. Calm.

For size perspective see if you can get a photo of him next to a cold drink bottle

I don't think there are any of his kind here in South Africa.

I would like to try this on my "rescue" chickens. 22 held in a 3X9 cage with flies and fecal matter, fed high powered finishing feed, broilers! Crazy! Now I've got them and they get to free roam two acres but many have large black "callous" on bottom of feet although not red or puffy. Can't see treating them all with surgery!

Please can anyone help
Hi there, I read somewhere on this site that putting clear betadine on bumblefoot and taping it can cure without surgery..... Bumblefoot usually causes a black dot on the underside of the foot. I had a Cornish X that I tried to treat on my own, but it's best to have someone to help you.

Maybe these links will help:

I've successfully removed the bumblefoot infection from my white leghorn in one foot and am working on the other foot. I googled the procedure and followed it and you'd never know she had it in the first foot. One tip is have a good and encouraging scrub nurse. And use blue lotion. It's like kote but a little different. Works wonders.
