HELP! Is this chick ok?

This check just hatched and has this weird sac like thing attached to its leg. It seems to be moving around normally. Will it fall off or do I need to take care of it? Thank you!

let it dry out more .. if the umbilicle is still attached by this evening cut it with sharp sterilized scissors out away from the navel where it looks un-bloody and juicy and get it off him. but keep an eye on it to be sure it dont get twisted around things in the mean time ..

Is it hooked around her leg? The worry is that she'll step or pull the cord, which can open the naval and that wouldn't be good. She should be okay if this doesn't happen, if the cord is able to dry. Once the cord is dry and thin like a brown piece of string, you can safely cut it, but leave a good couple of inches attached to her tummy. In other words, don't cut it close to her.

in the meantime, if its hooked or caught around her legs, try very gently, very carefully, to unhook it so that her leg is free. And try to prevent her from moving around too much if you can.
