Hi!

I was refilling my chickens' waterers and I heard some flapping. It turns out, one of my hens had flown off the roost and gotten her wing tangled in the string I use for hanging one waterer. I immediately rescued her and untangled the string. One of her feathers fell out as I did this. She was only hanging for a few seconds. Is her wing broken? What do you do for a broken wing?

Info:
She is a white Leghorn hen, about 8 1/2 months old.
She is dangling her right wing.
This happened about ten minutes ago.
No other chickens are experiencing this.
She doesn't look like she's bleeding.
She flew off a roost and was dangling by her wing. One feather fell out.
She ate normally when offered mash.
She hasn't pooped so far.
I haven't treated her at all, other than untangling her.
I do not have access to a vet.
She lives with twelve other hens in a 4x6 coop with a 12x16 run.
She laid an egg earlier today.

Pictures: Note- some wing dangling may be from heat.

Id keep an eye on her, obviously. Make sure it doesn't get swollen and she doesn't start getting lethargic. Maybe you could get some vet wrap and wrap her wing to keep it in place.

Update: I will keep monitoring the chicken, but I think she is fine. She was on the top roost, about 5 feet high last night, and she flew down with no problem. Her wing is no longer dangling.
