Help, is this normal? Woke up to one eye redder.

I woke up this morning and noticed one of my chickens has one eye that is more red than the other. It looks like the iris part of the eye that is more red. No red in the white of her eyeball. Is it possible she got pecked in the eye or something? She is otherwise happy and eating and running around like normal. I think the skin on that side looks more red, also, could just be me overthinking though.

I would keep an eye on her right eye to see if the iris color fades more to grey, or if her pupil appears irregular. Ocular Mareks disease can start out looking that way. (It might be just a normal color difference. I think if she would have been pecked, her eye would look damaged. But right now I would not be too concerned.

Thank you, I will just have to keep an eye on it for now.

It looks normal, plus the amount of light reflecting against the iris would bring out more color.
Hmm it’s a new color for us to see in her eye, maybe she’s just changing and growing up. Hope that’s the case! Thanks!
