Help! Is this speckled Sussex a pullet or roo?

Just picked up this speckled Sussex. I think it’s around 12-13 weeks old. I’m hoping it is a pullet as that’s what it’s supposed to be…

Darn. The person I got it from is positive it’s a pullet but I have been wondering because of the back feathers.
