HELP its day 23

ok im not sure and its driving me crazy.. today is 23 and the lil chick has done nothing. and im dying to see whats in that egg. if i open the egg is it a good chance its already dead or should i give it another day or so?????? please i really need feedback this is my first time hatching and if i do open it to see if its alive what would be the best way???

If it is alive and you open it, you'll probably kill it. Your best bet is probably just leave it alone for another 24 hours and hope for the best. As an alternative, try candling it and see if you can see anything moving.

I just experimented this old tale on checking for life line in the 18+ days egg and its very simple. Put it in a bowl of cool water for a while and if it moves then it a live. If there is no movement then the chance of it dead is very high. Out of 5 eggs on 21 days i put in yesterday, 3 moved the other 2 did not and 2 of the 3 moved peep today. Hope this help ya.
