HELP.......... Just found egg!!!

Hi I just found egg while taking my dog for a walk, I brought it home and not sure what to do with it.

Was it found near a water source? If so most likely a duck egg. Was it found near ushes or under a tree? Most likely a bird.

Either way it will need an inubator to have any chance at maybe hatching, but if it has been out of the nest for too long it may not make it.

Hi, it was near a field there's no water about. I've put it into box with straw because I didnt want to leave it to get crushed.
