Help! Large mass??

I just came out to check on my choekcns and one of our hens has a large crop. I poked it and it is squishy. Is this an impacted crop? I’ve never dealt with one before. She’s holding her wings slightly out and has very watery droppings. She is still foraging with the rest of the flock and acting pretty normal.

It may be that or she could be egg bound. How is she acting?

A large squishy crop could be a pendulous crop or the start of sour crop. An impacted crop is firm or hard when checking it first thing in the morning. I would recheck it in the morning before she eats when it should normally be empty. Holding wings out from body could be from being hot, trying to cool herself. The wet droppings could be feom drinking a lot of water.

Checked her this morning and it is smaller but still there. It is still squishy and I can feel something kind of granular. She’s Still acting fine
