Hi. So I came out this morning to find my silkie hen very lethargic. She's about 6 mo old. I believe she's been laying eggs as I've gotten 3 one day from the 3 of them. They're new to me as I just adopted them a week ago. They're staying separate from existing flock currently and I was going to start integrating today then saw her like this. I did epsom bath twice now on case egg bound. Nothing yet. She's completely lethargic. I managed to carefully syringe small amount water and poultry cell. Her crop feels full. Kind of squishy. She's had stool pass earlier. Then I'm her separated kennel I'm now keeping her in by herself, I noticed this yellow pasty powdery stuff. I don't know what to do. What's wrong with her??? Thank you please help

That looks like yellow urates or kidney waste which normally is white. Yellow urates can be a sign of liver disease or reproductive infections or tumors. I would keep offering fluids and giving a few drops of Poultry Cell daily. Cooked egg and a little moistened feed should be offered. She may have come with her illness, but hard to know. Most people keep new additions separated in quarantine for a month to make sure there are no symptoms of illness. If she doesn’t make it, you could get your state vet to do a necropsy to look for what was wrong.

Ok. Thanks so much. I also found a soft shell In the coop... Which makes me think an egg broke inside her. But I'm not sure... I'll continue with the advice you gave. Thanks so much.

This is someone else picture but this is exactly what I found today...
