Yesterday mod- morning I went out to check on my girls and found lily had gotten herself wedged under the shed- metal siding. I had to dig under her to get her out. I checked her out, and didn’t find anything . She was out eating and drinking and foraging with the other right after and all day today. Tonight I noticed a large lump on her right breast. It’s somewhat firm, and can’t see any obvious redness or discomfort. I’m not sure what to do, she’s acting normal and no obvious signs of trauma.

:thumbsup Just curious, but how long have you been raising chickens?
Check and see if all the birds have a lump right there.
Oh gosh... these are my first and I got them at a day old. I’m very new and don’t want anything to happen to my ladies. I feel a bit silly, but I’m glad she’s just full of food! I did just feed her. They all free range so get lots of sand and little pebbles all day!
