Seems like the Blue gene eggs don't travel well. IF you can pick them up and do not ship them. I had Blue cochins, Blue Orps, and Blue Ameraucanas. Ameraucana did the best at 50% HATCH RATE. bLUES SEEM MORE LIKE 25%

I have 2 cockeral's from Angie growing out and 13 more egg's in the bator.

I too am in need for nice Blacks and Buffs, cockerels especially. I have resorted to buying 3 Black pullets and a cockerel and having them shipped to indy from the West coast. YIKES!! I hate to do it, but am willing to roll the dice.

I just hatched out 3 Blacks and 3 Blues. I have 2 lonely Black Orp pullets who are wasting their eggs. These are everyday layers.
