Help! Loss of feathers

Same thing......I had to make a jail in the kitchen, its been a week and let her out with the other girls to run around in the sun today. I almost waited too long as she was almost not accepted back in.

Hard molt. She looks half the size of the other 6. Still bringing her in at night at roosting time. I let her out on work release now in the daytime.

You could try putting a little partition up to separate her at night, could be as simple as a piece of cardboard just enough so she can roost but the others can't see her. She's pretty bald in those spots so I'm thinking they're pecking at bedtime before its completely dark or in the morning before you let them out. I see you have windows on your coop as well, you could also try covering those. Chickens can't see in darkness, they won't peck what they can't see. ;)
Wow!! Great info!! We do close windows in the evening and it gets pretty dark where they are but we’ll try getting her out at first sign of light and try separating! Thank you!!!!

To me it looks like feather picking/plucking by one or more of the others. If you have inspected and made sure that she does not have mites or lice, I would guess that is the case. Causes can be boredom or possibly low protein. Addition of animal protein, flock blocks, hanging cabbages, more space - may help with the problem. Sometimes it becomes an ingrained bad habit, and can be difficult to correct. Do an on site search on Pin Less Peepers.
