Help! Loud females

No, don't get a Drake to try and shut them up.....I'm sure the person just talked back to them....Have no worries...They should settle as they mature...

I don't know how folks with close neighbors make ducks work noisewise. We only have four now and they are so loud, all. the. time. They free range on several acres and we can keep track of them just by sound. My roens love to yell at the top of their lungs for no reason, all hours of the day. I've seen them do it in the middle of a nap, then tuck their heads back under their wings and go back to sleep. You can hear them for miles. And the one pekin just loves the sound of her own voice. I don't mind the racket myself, but if we had neighbors it would never work.
