My humidity maintains between 40-50% but my temp varies from 93-97... I've tried different Bulbs ans plugging plus unplugging holes. :/ pretty much everything on google that i could find.
Its a homemade cardboard box incubator... Also does anyonw have hatches even if its not at a consistent 99.5 for 18 days?

Hi.

I use old blankets on the outside to stabilize the temp on my styrofoam incubator.

Mine never stays EXACTLY right... and I do get hatches that are acceptable. But I'm using still air so I incubate at 102. Usually takes me 20-21 days.

thank you so much. For info. I tried styrofoam but it varied soo much and was alot harder to control humidity and temp in. What are you using for water a tray underneath or a container with sponges inside or around (i know its humidity related) i tried the whole tray thing it was too hard lol

I almost had one hatch without using hygrometer a few months ago, until i made mistake of helping it unzip fully, so surely out of eight eggs i can get a couple with my temp flutuating a bit... Wish me luck. I saw a 7 .egg incubator where i have to manually turn them for 20 bucks on ebay... I dont know if i should just invest in that?

The cheap models can be ok or they can be a total waste of money..... I bought s cheap knockoff a year ago and managed to hatch some eggs but after I invested in my brinsea my hatch rates went up
