My parents just left(I'm 30y.o.) to see how my chicks were! My dad used the excuse of bringing an extra light incase mines goes out (ha-we have a bunch, and to bring my grandpa's incubator (didn't know he had one). They showed up at a quarter to eleven unannounced, which I found odd BC he's leaving for work at 4 every morning. And earlier my mother in law brought over a 50# bag of medicated chick start ( I had planned on going Monday) with a receipt for a new coop house and wires! "So we have a place to put them" which I planned on doing just not this month BC school supplies x5(I have 4 but my godchild was in need) isn't cheap. And she also got the feed stores owners cell # in case I have questions or they don't make it to put chicks aside for me. And as I was crying (yup I was crying when I found the second egg) dealing with the second chick, my 8 year old has finally realized where chicken meat comes from and has declared veganism lol. I had to face time my 14 y.o. God child BC she just went back home yesterday and has been waiting for them to hatch so I had to "show" her the chicks! Everyone can say what they want about Louisiana but you won't find more caring, loving people!! I guess the love you give is the love you get back! I must give a whole lot more than I realize BC this has me in tears these simple gestures that are so miniscule to some are great deeds to others. Off topic but it concerned the chicks so had to share!! Who knew two lil chicks could bring so many ppl together?! Thank y'all for all the GREAT advice as well!! Xoxo much love
