HELP!!!!!! MASIVE temperature spike on DAY 2

Well, just give them 2 or 3 more days and candle again---if there is no change----trash them and start over. Making sure Nothing can get to the control on the incubator. I set my incubator up with app 100 degree water(I use some when incubating) and let the incubator run for at least 12 hours AFTER the last adjustment to make sure its stable. Then I add the eggs and I go more than a day after adding the eggs before worrying about if I need to slightly tweak----I rarely have to.

They are gone! I had 6/15 that were fertile (but dead), 4 that I'm not certain about and 5 that, without a doubt, were not fertile.
My temps were stable for 3 days before I put the eggs in. I had someone that was going to sell me some eggs but that ended up not happening with her schedule so I just left it and continued looking for someone else. When I have incubated eggs in the past, I remember the temps dropping a bit when you put the eggs in and then warming back up, that's why I didn't touch it and just kept a close eye on it.
Next time, I'll put a little cup over the control and tape it down...or something.

One time and only one time-----so far----I dropped/dumped a tray of 48 18 day old eggs in the floor when I was putting them into lock down----very sad---they pretty much all broke---I learned Not to let that happen again.

Yes, put the incubator where no one can get to it---in a locked room, or, or, or. Good Luck on your next hatch!!

OH, one other thing I been wanting to say is---I do not know who the Lady is in the Pic but my 1st cousin married her "twin" sister.
