So after 8 long years of beggin I get to have chickens again! Yay! My question is what type of wood should I use to build the coop? I’m liking this design.

Plywood. Don't use Osb.
Why?
I have OSB for roof decking and it's fine. I also used it for the poop boards and nest box construction.
I wouldn't use plywood for sheathing unless it was wrapped and had a water resistant siding installed over it. Otherwise, an exterior T1-11 or Hardieboard should be used that is finished with 2 coats of an exterior grade paint.

I used plywood on mine. I also used *gasp* pressure treated wood.

I've only got the coop built so far. I'll be combining it with a small run. The setup will look very similar to your photo.

The Coop

The Run

Here's an in progress pic of the coop. I extended the legs a bit, to use the underneath as part of the run. Also makes it easier on my back, to clean it out.

I personaly wouldn't use Osb, without it being well painted anyway, as it swells terribly if it gets a little wet and stays swelled. It also shreds in the sun even if well painted. It's also expensive ($20-$30 more per sheet here but maybe not there) and heavy.
Maybe my environment just isn't good for it.

Pressure treated wood today does not contain arsenic like yesteryears did

I just rebuilt my coop and run. It is plywood, tons of 2x4s, a few 4x4’s and about 56 pallets :)
If you have a tractor supply near you, you can call and ask them if you can have any pallets or wood. We brought a 16 foot trailer and filled it. I have 20 or so chickens, so my coop and run are larger, plus the birds are free range on 3 acres.
