Help Me Build My List Of Enpowerment Songs

My daughters and I like to have days in which we only listen to Girl Empowerment songs like Pink's Stupid Girls or Carrie Underwood's song, Before He Cheats. Can any of you think of any songs that don't show the women being strong and not weak or a victim of love? I would like to add some new songs to our list. We like heavy metal but some country songs written by women are pretty good also. I like Gretchen Wilson's Redneck Woman, for example.

Guys, I am not trying to leave you out. If you have a song that fits the bill of empowerment-even if it is not by a female singer- then that is great. Maybe something encouraging or uplifting?

I only want songs that show a person being strong. Please, please, no 'he/she left me and I am helplessly crying in my beer.' songs.

Actually, this thread might be helpful for anyone going through a period in which they just feel vulnerable. Listening to certain songs can make you feel like you can take on the world.

No, Taylor Swift. Yeah,it is great that she writes her own songs and is positive but so far, her songs would not belong on this list. I am not saying that I dislike her or that she is not a good singer, she just hasn't yet written an enpowerment song that I have heard.

If I am wrong about her though, please include a link to the song or lyrics and I will certainly look them over.
