Hi dears !

We are building a farm in Afghanistan to produce 10,000 eggs daily. But we lack information about the selecting of the right, successful and most productive chickens that lay more than 300 eggs throughout the year !

So kindly help us to chose the layers and buy them as soon as possible !

Thanks baby

Here are Hatchery Listings here in the US. Personally I think MyPetChicken.com and Meyer Hatchery are the best and most economical but shop around. Don’t know who delivers there might be cheaper if purchase in own country if available.

I selected the golden comet because I know they are good producers and the mennonite farmer up the road uses them for their commercial egg production. TheY let them out on pasture during the day.
These are hybrids, so if you choose to hatch some of their eggs, you cannot be sure of what traits the offspring will have.
Also, my experience shows that within 3 years they will start to slow down in egg laying and start having health issues.
