Mine show sex early and get to size decently fast but they just don't start lying as fast as many want birds to. 5-6 months is round about when I start finding pullet eggs. Males start breeding way earlier and some I can start sexing by 3-5 weeks
I have yet to catch most of them to even look at, and they hatched last summerThis could work really well, as I'm doing a mix, so I can breed some of the roosters early, and then wait for the pullets for the second round. Would you say they are good flyers and observers?
