Hello! My name is Ashley and my fiancé and I just started our chicken "flock" a rooster wandered onto our property and has stayed with us for almost a year now. We recently bought him some chicks! (They were raised inside in the brooder and we're slowly introducing them to the outdoors, it's still chilly at night here in PA) I was hoping someone could help me out here, we bought four chicks, a barred rock (Penelope), a buff Orpington (mother Clucker), a Rhode Island Red (Scarlett), and what we think is an Easter egger/Ameraucana (Doc McCluckins) When we bought the chicks from a feed store they were all in this big tub with a bunch of other chicken breeds and I just assumed they knew which was which. I don't know what she is supposed to look like but every picture ive seen looks nothing like her! Someone help?

I do think you have an Easter egger there. She's clean faced, which is unusual, but that color, dark legs and pea comb all point that way. The pea comb also lends itself to the chances you'll get blue or green eggs from her in a few months!

Thank you both so much! I wouldn't mind if she wasn't an Easter egger! I was just curious! Thank you guys!
