I have 15 birds, they are around the same age (14-24 weeks) with a couple of older ones. They get fed all flock with oyster shells on the side for the layers.
I've had 3 of them die in a matter of days. All from the same group that I bought in February from someone local. There were originally 6 of them and they are 19 weeks old.
I started thinking it was respiratory so I treated with Tylan but the 3 that died were on either day 3 or 4 of Tylan.
We got hit with fowl pox a couple weeks ago and the ones that weren't showing signs were vaccinated.
The signs they all have that have died is lethargy, droopy wings, closed eyes, and thick clear mucus in mouth. I check for wet pox but they didn't have sores or anything in their mouth except for the thick mucus. It had a sick smell, like the only way I can describe it is when my kids get a bad cold or flu, their breath smells the same way. The second one had fowl pox for sure, she had bumps around her face a tiny comb. The other 2 didn't have any bumps.
What could it possibly be? They die within days of showing symptoms and I'm scared for the rest of my girls.

Hello! I ended up using denegard in their water and lost one more baby, the youngest one. All the older girls where fine and just showed fowl pox symptoms, some worse than others. I vaccinated them all but they all ended up getting anyway.
