Help me guess which breed laid these

I dont think theres a way to tell from just the variation in brown eggs unless you have a breed known for exceptionally dark eggs. Regular brown egg colors will vary from bird to bird. You'll probably have to catch them in the nest box as prior poster stated.

I am also in the process of finding who lays which egg.I poke my head in there so many times a morning to see who is in which box.Team work between me and my 5 years ols daughters.

5 eggs a day, sometimes 6!

Well I didn't get around to butt checks but I didn't need to as my Speckled Sussex laid an egg right in front of me and it matches the darker egg!

I managed to catch my Specked Sussex as my darker egg layer! Was surprised but happy nonetheless

Whelp I found a second egg that looks identical to the small darker egg... Which means there is a third pullet laying and idk who! Butt checks tonight!
