Help me identify this Chicken as a hen or Rooster

The 5th toes is actually located on the upper back leg and is a bit stubby like a pinky toe...

Ah, those are spurs.

Hens will often get them. Not really a 5th toe.

As others have said, she is a hen, and looking at the physical condition of her and your barred rock, I expect that you will be getting eggs shortly.

Yep, hens can have them too. One of my Black Australorp girls had spurs around 2 inches. I've seen some folks on here post pictures of some hens that could put a roo to shame with their spurs. However, not all get them. My BA was the only one out of... oh gosh.... I don't know how many.... Somewhere around 50... that I have owned.

OK got my first egg from my EE hen this morning!!! I'd say its a grade A
