I have been breeding it out of my Lavender lines. I can trace it back 3 gens to a hen that was introduced then. I am concentrating on this color (I just love it) and am building a breeding program completely around it. The funny part is unlike others who are breeding for it, these birds have no Alan Stanford or George Mahalik blood.

Darn, I need a lavender. I was hopeing I could just put my light blue with my partridge. LOL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE
that color and I think it ranks up there with my favorite too!!
Have you seen the picture that sonoran has of hers?? It is soooooo pretty!!

Yes I have. I have a hen that is that light that has gone Broody just this week. My husband thought she had gotten sick, he came up to me to "break" the news that she was ill. I had to explain, she is fine, just has no desire to move now. I wish she would get over it & start laying again! lol
