I haven't a clue what to name my chicks or turkey poults. Does anyone want to give me a little help. Here is what I have.

2 BO hens, 2 EE hens, 1 buff brahma hen, 3 silkie hens, 2 golden laced polish (don't know about the sex) 2 other polish not sure what kind one is yellow and the other is blueish gray color, 1 turken, 1 white frizzle cochin hen, 1 splash cochin hen, 1 strange looking gray feather footed hen don't think it is a cochin, 7 babies that I just hatched that I am just really not sure what they are, and 1 yellowish white feather footed small puffy cheeked baby. So that is what 24 that I need names for. Thanks for your help!!!

OH yeah I also have 2 turkey poults.

I have Lily, Rosie, Harper, Kay Hawken and Squawk (my boys named these two), Ginger, Gracie, Honey, Willow, Brook, Penny, Fey, and Eleanor Rigby (Ellie).

I read an article in the local paper the other day about a woman who named her back-yard chickens after opera heroines: Brunnhilde, Mimi, Cio-Cio San, Violetta, Salome, Tosca--you get the idea. I thought the "diva" vibe was clever. If opera's not your thing, you could use other "divas": Aretha, Dinah (Washington), Billie (Holiday), Ma Rainey, Rosemary (Clooney), etc.
