I'll be on vacation tomorrow
I didn't know there was a show. I'm not ready to buy yet anyway but later on I might need one or two!

What's the best way to give them air circulation besides keeping them outside? All pigeons are friendly, If you want them to be pets, hand feed them as babies and spend alot of time with them. You dont need a heat lamp for pigeons, just keep them out of direct wind when it is cold. They need air circulation to stay healthy tho. Sealed up quarters will make pigeons sick. An old timer told me once, "pigeons need air" and this is true.
Do NOT keep the birds in your garage!!! That is a terrible place for any bird. Fumes from paint, chemicals and the car exhaust are very bad for the bird. Also it will be too dark. Pigeons and doves need natural sunlight to stay healthy and make vitamin D. Normal lamp bulbs do not provide this.
Also the bird will be much harder to tame because its in isolation in there. In your house it will see you and other people often moving about and calm down quickly and realise people are no a threat. You also must let the bird fly around for exorcise and it will sit on your head of shoulder. You can not let the bird fly in the garage because of all the dangerous things in there.
Don't worry about the non stick pans in the kitchen. Just keep the bird in a room away form the kitchen. The non stick is only dangerous if the pans are brand new or they are overheated and go on fire.
I recommend ring neck doves. They are very easy to tame at any age, they are very inexpensive, they are less messy than the larger pigeons too.
Here are pics of some of mine!
