Help me pick out my new batch of chickens

I havn't had any problems keeping them clean, just had to keep the brooder extra clean, an I think when they got a bit older they will pretty much take care of that themselves, if something gets stuck to their foot or ? they'll just pick it off!

They are the most beautiful chickens ever

Just a big fluffy ball of feathers!

Mottled Cochin
Porcelain Belgian Bearded d'Uccle
Black Tailed Buff Japanese
Silver or Golden Sebrights
Old English Bantam

But I'm a bantam lover, so I'm biased

If your looking for show birds, I think it would be better to look for local breeders.

I hope you solved the issue with preditors being able to kill 30 babies and the rest of your coops/runs are preditor proof.

I have looked for local breeders but their are never any with good show quality birds. I have had plenty of luck with Murray McMurray though.

My votes are with the D'Uccles, porcelain and Mille Fleur are also very pretty. I also the think the Sebrights are also pretty. Of course, I don't think I saw these on your list but I really like the Silkies and Frizzles too. I have all of those breeds and really like them, however you do get sometimes some funny looking Frizzles. The one that I really want to get though are the Phoenix variety. Good luck!
