This egg has pipped twice but now won’t pip anymore, I think the membrane is dry to, my humidity is at 60% but it dried out anyway. I am afraid it will shrink wrap.

How long has the egg been externally pipped? Is this a chicken egg? If so, what breed? What day of incubation is this? Are both external pips in the air cell? I like to keep my humidity at 65% while hatching.

Here is the picture sorry it didn’t upload last time

I will answer your question in order . It has been pipping since either last night or this morning, and it stopped at about 1 today. It is a duck egg. It is a barnyard mix. This is day 28. I don’t understand stand what you mean by are the pups in the air call.

She was asking about internal pips into the air cell, I think. You can tell if it has pipped internally by carefully candling the egg. Candling will also allow you to see movement. I don't know a lot about duck eggs but I don't think they are much different than chickens other than the longer incubation period. If it were me, I would candle to check for internal pip and movement. If I saw either one (or both), I would put the egg back in the incubator and give the baby more time. If it has been 12 hrs since the last pip and there's no movement inside, then I would CAREFULLY put a little peephole in the air cell end so I could see if there's movement or shrink wrapped. I've lost a chick due to shrink wrap so I understand the concern but most of the time they are just resting or pipping internally.
