Help me please ID this Bird

Ok this is a bird that inherted due to death in fam. She just hatched 10 chicks (more on that story in story form) This is what i know shes down form a game breeding and she has some sort of feathering on top of her head? Oh yea she almost made the KFC menu today but i had to remember tha she was protecting her babies

Well, she is "some kind" of black... That's as far as i can say. Probably american gamefowl.

My first guess would be Black Sumatra. However, she may very possibly be some sort of game.

If she has a feather tuft on her head, she's what they call a Toppy. The only American Game lines I know of as dark as she is are either Mcrae or Sid Taylor, maybe Velcro.

Anywho, she'll be a great broody!

I agree with chickerdoodle13, she could possibly be a sumatra.
I was also thinking maybe a black star,
but it could also be a game or mixed
