so i have two silkie roosters which do fight each other but i am able to stop them. Any way one of my healthy chickens started to loose balance and not be able to walk mind you they both do have bumble foot but that has never stopped them before. i don't live on a farm and i live in a normal house with only two roosters i have noticed that my chicken has regained his balance but now has not been cocodoodling right or crowing right he still ca but now its like he has a sore throat he is weak. both of my chickens are about one years old and i keep them as pets anyway . Now i have been busy and have not been able to give them a lot of time outside i only have been taking them out for the past three days just to clean them and then i would put them away they have a divider in between them that way they do not fight each other i took the one out that has been getting i guess a sore throat and it looks like he has a lot of plucked feathers an one black feather which is weird because he is all white please help me and tell me what i should do next

You should treat the bumble foot issue. It is important . There are more than one way to do it. One is surgical, and other is with medications.
The strange black feather is not totally unheard of. Your rooster may be going thru a molt since is about one year old. Often times, the feathers that regrow after a molt will be different shade of color, than before.
No IDEA on the sore throat condition. :idunno
If you need more info on bumble-foot treatment, I can post links to some that are here on BYC.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :welcome

Can you look inside his beak to see if there are any yellow or grey patches, and check to see if his breath has a bad odor? Does he have any drainage from his eyes or nostrils? What are you feeding your roosters? Can you offer some electrolytes in his water? Mixing a little water into a small amount of his food to get some water into him? Are you in the US or in a different country?

Pictures of his bumblefoot and one of him as he looks would be helpful.

thank you cavemanrich i actually did go to the vet once for there bomblefoot they said they couldn't do anything about except do a thousand dollar surgery

thanks i have btw i live in the us and i watches videos of people doing it them selves and they just make the poor chicken bleed like crazy do you know any other ways and i will read the article right now
