Help me SAVE my chicken who I think has Gapeworm

Oh I'm sorry, I Know NOTHING about other diseases really. Did she survive? I kept this one in with me a few days after I gave the dog wormer (ultraguard plus) and she was as sassy as could be. I put her back out with her sisters and I honestly can't tell them apart now myself, but my son can, (he feeds them) and says she's now the friendliest one for the experience!

Hope it turned out well for your girl!

Shes okay now, the death rate of this is only 20-30%. My girl hates me now, she equates me with getting put in confinement and sneezing blood ..

but at least shes alive!

Awww, well I'm glad she's okay....
My chicks get spoiled when they are inside, so it usually makes them friendlier, we keep em warm,
and hold and pet and

on them, and give them yummy things... and pray for them too!! It probably helps that I have two boys to help love em up!!

This one got, like I said a little saucy!! LOL! She wanted to fly around and march on my computer keys and wander the house, so I knew she was okay to go back outside, but she wasn't shy or afraid of us anymore, like she was a little when we first brought her in. Then again, she was pretty sick then too, so didn't react a lot.... you could tell she was nervous but it seemed like she knew we were going to help her... I think she spent 4 days inside.

ours get to come in too when they are sick :)

Yes, that's best when they are sick, keeps em from spreading whatever it is around too! I'm not sure, but I think the bantams are friendlier by nature. I have mostly bantams with only 4 full size chickens and one rooster.

well a few days ago the WHOLE flock of 60 got it. this is one of the worst, so thank goodness its not too bad yet. but i think its reaching its peak so hopefully will start going down like the ones who got it before. So far we have only lost one hen to it
