Help me sex the little divas

If you wanted, I could even grow out the hatch to ensure that you get a pretty little pullet. It's very easy to tell by 2 to 3 weeks old what sex they are... keep me in mind, okay? You can check out my website too for couple more pictures.

I don't need more chickens. Really!

Even gorgeous purebred Blue Wheaten Americaunas who lay beautiful blue eggs.

Don't need more chickens.

See - if I say it often enough... I might believe it. Right? Right?!

Your chick's comb looks much darker in these last pics - I'm going to have to retract my pullet guess - I would have to see pics again in a few weeks to make my guess now.

For comb comparison - This is a Wheaten roo at 7 weeks - very light comb still

This was one of my little Blue Wheaten roos at 7 weeks - yours does look have similar coloring.

Notice how Jeremy's little roo has the splashes on its back and shoulder? Here's a pic of one of my Blue Wheaten roos (front) and an EE roo that had a Blue Wheaten father - notice how both have those brown spots/splashes like Jeremy's chick? If your chick starts getting those splashes in a few weeks and the comb gets any darker, than you'll know you have a cockerel.

Guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed. Or take up jeremy on his offer of a blue-egger...

Beautiful birds!

The shot I posted looks really dark to me - she's a golden color not dark brown, but I have to admit your little Blue Wheaten 7 week old roo looks awfully similar coloring... Gosh I hope she's a girl. Oh well. Not much I can do about it for now...

Thank you, I'm quite fond of them.

I call my hens "my lovelies", because that's what they are, lovely birds!

If you're interested in some of your own, I will have eggs and chicks available in the springtime.

I got some more shots of the divas outside today. Hopefully the natural lighting will help. (and they're so pretty...)
