BTW - I want to say how much I appreciate everyone helping me to figure this out. I have no idea how to tell... Please let me know what you need from me in order to get a better idea. Thanks!

If I was going to go by just the comb I'd say 2 girls and 1 boy. But I know they can sex some by color and I know that's what Illia was trying to do! I don't know anything about EE or Ameraucanas so I can't help you there!!

Pretty birds too!!

looks like one roo, maybe you need to come get a few more from me, I can't let them go yet, but once they all come into color I can

Okay, here's one last set of shots that might, hopefully show up better. Thanks for your patience with my phone-shots...

Audrey is defintiely a cockerel.

Jane is definitely a pullet.

Marilyn is most likely a pullet, but it's still hard to see her colors in those shots. It's not just the color that we're looking for, but patterns too. Did you buy Marilyn from someone who breeds pure Ameraucanas verus Easter Eggers. If you're not sure, call them up and ask what color Ameraucana they sold you and post the reply - the answer should give it away (EE versus Ameraucana). She almost looks like a Blue Wheaten Ameraucana to me.

Cheryl said Marilyn was an EE. (I'm pretty sure Cheryl knows what she sold me for breeds.) (And she was such a pretty baby!) I'm really hoping Marilyn is a pullet. She's so pretty. So what kind of "patterns" are you looking for? Are there photos that would help me understand what you're seeing/looking for?

Okay - EE it is. I missed that you got your chicks from someone here on BYC. The coloring just looked a lot like my BW/W ameraucanas, but the pics aren't real clear. I love the EEs that are partially blue.

A clear close-up of your EEs comb and then another one that shows the coloring on her side and back would help. It's hard to explain the patterning, but many times male EE chicks will have darker splashes of color on their shoulders and there are certain patterns that females have. It's not always obvious, but sometimes can be. From what I can see in your pics, the comb looks very light, which makes me think your EE is probably a pullet.

Okay, here's another try at Marilyn (who I'm hoping is a pullet?)

Does this help? It's from the top...
