Hi ok so i have 5 (jumbo??) coturnix quail ranging from 1.5 weeks to i'd assume 2.5 weeks. They all have partially feathered chests, some more than others. Can anyone at least help me with a few? It'd be very helpful. Thanks!

This above is my oldest chick, Ghost. 2.5-2 weeks old.

This one is my second oldest, Nugget. leaning towards girl, but what do i know? This one's like a week and a half old.

This and the next are a bit younger, so it's fine if i have to wait. this is GG, probably 1.5 weeks

I am now 99% sure that snow is a male from vent sexing, but i still need help with the others.

Hello! With Coturnix quail, as soon as they have feathers on their chest, you can feather sex them. The males have a solid golden chest while the females have a tanner chest with dark spots everywhere. Snow looks like he's a male, Meadow and Nugget look like females, and I can't tell on GG. Good luck!

thanks so much i was getting no replies. then, the first chick, ghost, would also be male, right?

update: looks like GG is a male. Going to have to pickup a few females to balance them out.
