#1 is black. See her green sheen on the wing tips. I thought she was from jenlynn4 but when I look at the chick pics...I didn't hatch any blacks??? Sometimes I don't band right away but this would be a biggie mistake, and they were the only silkies hatched out at that time. I didn't even have any 'dark' blue chicks.

Has anyone ever had blue chicks feather in black?

Can't help with sexing, but I'd take #1 and #2 off your hands in a heartbeat...funny thing is I don't usually like black or blue birds, either....those are gorgeous silkies you have there!
