Help me sex this duck!

Sounds like a drake but looks like a duck since it doesn't have a drake feather, has it ever laid an egg or tried to mate with any of the other ducks?

No mating. No eggs. However, it is possible that it is still malnourished. The place we got it from (1-2 months ago) has about 30 ducks in one cage, so it might not have gotten much food. Its sister took a couple months to gain weight.

Well you may just have to wait a bit longer before knowing for sure, might even change it's voice pitch once it gets healthy. Update often. Don't want to miss out on what it finally is.

It maybe malnourished but that sure wouldn't keep a frisky drake from mating with it.

I will. And we have seen my drake move towards it to jump on it but Lucy was too fast and ran away. But it could've just been aggression. Couldn't tell.

So we have news. "Lucy" is a really a male. (Louis). We put out a baby pool, and we caught him mating with one of our females. It's just disappointing that it's not a female, especially since the place we got it from told us it was a female. Well, we will still love him. Hopefully he gets a long with our other male duck. I'd like to thank everyone for their opinions and helpfulness, as well.

Aww well that happens often, glad you still love him anyway. How about an updated pic.
