If he's a quiet boy he can stay. 
I'm still crossing my fingers he's a she. They are really the cutest together. If I separate them they both cry til they find each other. I took one today to take her pic and had to put her back cause the noise was terrible like a car honking over and over. Soon as I got the other and put them together. No noise.
I dont think my neighbours would be very friendly if I kept a loud bird but it seems the jury is out on the silkie sex anyway
