Help me understand my dog?

Yes, poodles type breeds have quirks to them. They have a tendency to have anxiety. Try as you might to cauldle the anxiety from him, the worse it becomes.
I'm going to guess, you probably don't feed drydog food only..right?
Well, that's one of the problems.
Because of this, little/small dogs must have their teeth cleaned. Otherwise, the bacteria can cause heart and kidney issues.
Put the dry dog food in a bowl on top of a container that he can reach comfortably.
If he doesn't eat after 30 min. PICK the bowl up until next time to eat.
Do this everyday until he breaks down and eats.
If he is stubborn, do it as long as it takes. Do not give in. If it takes one or two weeks, Do not give in. He will not starve. He will beg and cry but, Do not give in.
Show him YOU are the boss.
Otherwise, his bad habits will continue and exacerbate as he gets older.
He has trained you, now it's time you train him!
Good Luck!

Like others have said, I’m pretty sure he has just trained you haha so I would just put the food down and let him figure it out. He may also just not like that particular food? Though if he eats it on a different dish that might not be it. But just don’t respond if he tries to get you to switch dishes again or whatever. Just put it down. You could also try feeding him in a crate or somewhere separate if she is stealing his food. He’s just quirky and trained you lol

I guess I'm one of the few people who free feeds dry dog food these days? Mine eat when they feel like around here. I've always fed this way.
We used to free feed Gator but only because he starved himself if he didn’t and he also didn’t overeat and stopped when he was full. I think future digs though I’d do a schedule but I’m not sure why really hahah and I know everybody says dogs won’t really starve themselves but Gator literally would 😂🤣

He is allergic to many foods, this is the only one that doesn't give him joint pain, or the squirts😳

He eats simply nourish, because it doesn't have corn gluten, Wich seems to be what mainly sets him off. Poor 4 month old puppy who was so sad he couldn't hold it in the car😂😂😂 that was a fun one lol. My other dog, well she could Probobly eat about anything and walk away, she is excited when we leave, and much quieter.

Nope, your not.
I have a 7 year old King Shepard. She only eats dry dog food. It's always in her bowl. She eats at night after we go to bed. In the morning, I wash her bowl and refill it. Then it sits until she is ready to eat.
When our other German Shepard and Mini Dauchund were alive, I did the same.
But, this one is given one all natural peanut butter biscuit every morning. If not, she will voluntarily eat a little bit of her food.
She needs a little something on her stomach otherwise, I will find her dry heaving.
I'm the same way in the morning, I need to eat something. Lol.
