OK- here goes- I got a great deal on some wooden shipping crates- They are 7 foot tall-7 foot deep and 4 foot wide-They look like huge rectangular boxes mane of plywood- How can I make 2 coops with them with easy access to both coops- Maybe lay it down and cut doors on each side?? and divide it in the middle. Help?? anyone done anything similar?

We have a 4x8 - 6' tall coop. You need a door for you, a chicken pop door and window. Look in the coop index for ideas. There are loads! Good luck!

I think I would use this coop's floor plan as a jumping-off point. You could create a walkway between the two containers, or you could use the containers as 2 of the 4 sides of a fenced-in run.
