Help me with an incubator! Please!

I would buy a Brinsea. You can add the turner later if you can't afford it now. I haven't hatched in one, but people that use them like them.

I love my Brinsea.. I actually have 2 . I think you can get one cheaper at the brinsea website. Its on sale now for $99. I really like their "turner cradle" and I would suggest you splurge and by it. but if not, its very easy just to tip the whole incubator several times per day.

I have one of each. The only diffence is I had to add the hygrometer and thermometer in the eco as it only comes with an old school thermometer. The advance has a digital read out and alarm settings so it will alert you if the temps or humidity get off. My eco has held the temps and humidity just fine and after two weeks of using the advance the alarms have never gone off. In other words, if you want to set it and forget it get the advanced, but if you don't mind just looking at the temp/humidity once a day or so you can save yourself some money.

The advance comes with the turner cradle and its an extra charge on the eco so really to compare its more like $150 vs $300 to get the digital read out and alarms.

I have had three good hatches with my Brinsea Eco.

Not trying to steal the post, but Thank You! This helps me a lot. I already have a hygrometer and thermometer and honestly even if I had the option to set it and forget I just know I will be peeking in daily just to make sure everything is OK.

the main thing I really like about the Brinsea is that once you set the temperature, it stays within a degree or two of where you set it.

No worry! This is the kind of stuff I like, cuz I can see other stuff I might have not!

Great Chicken0Boy! Then you won't mind me asking about the Evaporating pads/blocks. I saw where someone posted it really helps, but dh (always trying to find the cheapest way out) was wondering if folding and wetting napkins will have the same effect?
