You are going to need a pretty big brooder to hold them for 5 weeks. You can start out with a large rubbermaid plastic bin, but they quickly outgrow that. I start with that, then put them in a 4'x4'x2'H brooder and even then, I have to thin that down to no more than 12 by five weeks and even more by the time they are 7 weeks. Your best bet is probably a 5-6ft diameter kids plastic swimming pool with a wire top for the first couple of weeks, then a wire wall around it for the rest of the time. This is assuming they will be kept indoors the whole time. Just make sure the floor is covered with something grippy, like paper towels (not newspaper) the first few days, then a good layer of pine shavings so they don't slip around on the plastic floor and injure themselves.
