help me with my soon to be rabbit hutch. Plz!

One, they are supposed to be housed seperate, you could make a long hutch with seperate areas.

If you want to breed them, I would still say that a longer hutch divided into sections would be your best option. Male and female rabbits should be housed separately otherwise the males will either kill the babies or stress the female rabbit out by over breeding. Additionally, if not separated, the male rabbit could re-breed the female while she is still nursing babies. There are people who keep colonies of rabbits, but they do so in much larger spaces.

In that hutch in the picture, I would say you could keep one pet rabbit, or two spayed/neutered rabbits. I would not recommend keeping two or more unaltered rabbits in the same cage because many times they will fight and injure each other.

I built a 6ft long hutch that is seperated into 3 'cages'. i built it for my meat rabbits and it's worked out great so far.

I believe the minimum space for 1 medium sized rabbit is 2' x 2.5' or something close to that. My cages are 2' x 3', just to give them a little extra room. BUT, if you build your own don't make the cage too deep(front to back), i really regret doing that because i usually have to reach into the back to get the bunny. they're friendly but they just like messing with me i think
