I just realized that this whole time candleing my quail eggs I've been mistaking the egg whites(or yolks or what ever it was) for the air sack. I don't have a hygrometer so I had no way to know if my humidity was too high or too low. The thing that I thought was the air sac was way too big so I decided to add humidity to the incubator. Now I found the real air sack and it's way too small. I already lowered the humidity but I'm not sure that's enough. I'm currently on my 11th day of incubation. Is it too late to fix it? Should I remove all water from the incubator(forced air)? I turn my eggs by hand 4 times a day so that must lower the humidity every time I do it. Please help.

I have quail eggs in my bator now..day ten or eleven (I need to double check). Can you post a picture of what you are seeing?

I can take a few for you now of my own eggs for you to have a reference on how they should look if you like.
