So I rescued this chicken from a chicken house when she was a chick.

So 4-6 months ago?
...or did you just get her?

I just got her from a chicken house. They were going to kill her because she wasn’t growing fast enough. I have never had a chicken and I know nothing about them.

I got her 5 months ago in October.. She was a chick when I got her. Not sure of her exact age then but she was probably 3-4 weeks old when I got her. So she’s about 6 months old now. I read to feed her starter feed at first so she was on that and then we switched to an adult mix..

What exactly is that?
Any other 'foods/treats'?
You'll have to monitor her feed closely or she may die,
meat birds weren't meant to live longer than 8 weeks or so.

Looks like she a loose poops....was her butt dirty like that before she laid the egg?
